Pours a bright, neon cloudy yellow with a nice white cap that settles down into a nice thin layer. Not much lacing. Aromas of cloves, coriander, yeast, pears, green apples. Taste is light and refreshing with a nice wallop of spice, yeast, citrus, and sour apple. Dry, wine-like finish. Very nice though a little too much cardboard at the end. mike1977ok (637), Netherlands
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 10, 2009 Hazy straw blond colour with massive thick, lumpy head. Aroma is quite yeasty with a little spice. Texture is rather thin and a little flat. Considering this as a white beer the flavour is quite fullsome with the spiciness at first and a softer, sweeter finish. Scauca (409), Lovere, Italy
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Jan 9, 2009 Almost clear golden with a huge creamy white head. Very sweet aroma, candy floss, banana and some cloves. The flavour is sweet as well, a bit cloying for my likings. Well brewed but not my beer. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 7, 2009 Bottle. Mildly sweet wheaty aroma, with hints of alcohol. Cloudy orange body, off-white head. Fruity flavor, emphasizing banana. Clean finish. Very satisfying. Foxbush (456), Richmond, Virginia, USA

This spicy flavored beer is hazy blonde color. The Wezen beers se are just not my favorite. I need to work on learning more about them. I am an IPA man. Give me more hops!!! trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 2, 2009 Pours hazy gold with a puffy, rocky white head. Excellent lacing down the glass. Sugary wheat aroma, lots of banana and bread in this one. Fresh-smelling, nice change from the dank basement you sometimes get with the weizenbock. Bubbly mouthfeel, although it does get syrpuy from time to time. The taste was good, but a little too sweet for me. Solid wheat and banana/yeast ester base. Loved the clove and lemon peel components as well.
Only problem I had was it was a little too sweet. Kind of got a cotton candy-sugar taste after a while, to the point I craved an IPA or something sour to wash this beer down with. At first I wanted to mark this beer down for it in the taste category, but everything that came before it was too good graham515 (424), Houston, Texas, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 28, 2008 Pours a murky yellow gold into the glass with a small white head and lots of hissing carbonation. Aroma is slightly banana and allspice with a little citrus to it. Flavor is some bready malt with yeast dominating the profile. Mouthfeel is superb. Almost a Belgian, champagne-like mouthfeel that expands with carbonation in your mouth. This stands out to me as the best German beer Ive ever had. madquacker (713), Canberra ACT, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 28, 2008 Strange label. Orange colour with a decent head. Fruity esters on the nose and lots of alcohol. A little metallic in the end.
