A versão nacional da Eisenbahn ainda corre atrás... gwpom (246), Akron, New York, USA Nov 29, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy yellow with a foamy white head. When I bought this for some reason I thought I was getting a dark beer... silly me. And as I’m not much into Weizen beers, I was a bit disappointed. But this is a delicious beer, with a touch of citrus but not tangy and sour, more like a smooth banana/lemon touch. Can’t taste the alcohol at all, and it has a very nice buzz to it. If this truly is the worlds oldest brewery, as it says on the label, I can see why. This rocks. FriarHop (31), Long Beach, New York, USA Nov 29, 2008 Updated: Dec 14, 2008Bottle. A very lovely weizenbock indeed. Cloudy lemon yellow in color, a thin lacing. Notes of citrus, bananas and spice. Great tasting wheat beer for a 7.7% ABV. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Nov 29, 2008 Pour is a cloudy lemonaid lookalike with a gianormus white head. Aroma is a very nice citrus with some clove and vanilla. Flavor is again some vanilla and citrus with a nice breadyness at the end. This is a decent and well made beer and its a bargan at only 3 buck a pop. Bullit (1300), Glasgow, Scotland Nov 21, 2008 Hazy golden colour, firm head. Aroma has citrus and spices. Flavour is yeasty, with fruits and spices. Smooth finish. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA Nov 20, 2008 Poured a light golden color with nice fluffy white head that lasted a while. I was surprised by the lightness of the color. The aroma was very citrusy. The taste was a flavorful balance of bananas, spice, citrus, and wheat. The mouthfeel was very nice. Despite its 7.7% abv this is an extremely drinkable beer that hides its alcohol well.

Apperance: Golden yellow with a generous, firm white head. Looks very inviting!
Aroma: Wheat, Yeast, Spices, Banana marshmallow, Hay.
Flavor: Wheat, Fruit, Citric notes, Yeast, Spices, Cloves.
Palate: Refreshing wth a acidic touch and plenty of carbonation with a solid malt backbone.
Wow, this tastes like a Wiehenstephaner Hefe with lots more body. Very drinkable and tasty. Recommended! Nate (2533), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 17, 2008 From bottle. Yeasty doughy nose, with coriander lemon-orange notes, mild bubblegum, and a chalky bitter carbonic gassy smell. Light sulfur. A bit of pleasant sour bread tang, too. Light sweet fruity character. Pillowy creamy-foamy off-white head that is huge throughout. Incredible lacing. Dull butterscotch amber body that’s cloudy with dregs. Medium-heavy watery body with medium-soft carbonation. Smooth. Starts pretty sweet, with wheat and spun sugar, orange essence and light bubblegum. Mild tangy quality to it, maybe some acid malt. Light hops in the finish, with smooth yeasty banana-orange aftertaste. A bit of warming, but faint. This is a tasty beer and just a bit too heavy to be considered refreshing.
