Snojerk321 (1918), San Diego, California, USA Oct 8, 2008 Bottle from South Bay Drugs. Pours a hazy golden yellow with an orange hue. The head is a couple fingers of creamy white that takes its time to fade and laces spots. Smells spicy, banana, pepper, coriander and clove. Taste begins with sweet malt followed by the wheat and spice. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA Oct 7, 2008 Draft. Hazy golden-straw colored beer with an off-white head. Wheat and banana aroma. Wheat, malt, banana, spice, yeast flavors. Medium body. Malt/wheat linger with slight citrus, spice, and banana. Nice and easy to drink. gringo332 (237), Richardson, Texas, USA Oct 7, 2008 Excellent wheat beer. Pours a nice gold. Be sure to poor really slow, it has a huge head. mjs (1446), Helsinki, Finland Oct 5, 2008 (Bottle on 2008-10-04) Orange. Cloudy. Banana and salty liquorice in nose. Full bodied palate with quite a lot of carbonation. Malts, bitterness, some banana, salty liquorice and sweetness in taste.
hombrepalo (748), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 1, 2008 Big Bottle... Nice weizen. Pours very hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma of cloves, wheat, and sweet malts. Fruity--banana, mostly, and some darker fruits--flavor, with a great sweetness. BeerFanDan17 (610), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Sep 25, 2008 One of the best wheat beers I’ve tasted. Pours dark yellow with a nice thick but frothy head. Flavors are of wheat, but no cereal with a balance of banana, apricot, and honey. Really unique and tasty. Optigon (561), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Sep 24, 2008 Pours light yellow, cloudy, with a fine white head. Pleasantly light, yeasty, and grainy in aroma. Very spicy and effervescent. Good solid mouth feel. Sweet backing. Fuckin’ awesome.
