Commercial Description:
A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma is roasted, malty. It’s a pretty decent bock, a style I’m always iffy on.

Hazy dark golden color with a white sheen. Nice grassy banana nut bread aromas with grainy malts. Frothy light body. Lightly sweet honey banana flavor with grainy malt grist.

Pours a hazy golden orange with hints of dark ripe banana and cloudy golden yellow hues when held to a light source and a 2 finger frothy white head that slowly fizzles into a thin cap. Nice spicy clove aroma with a very prominent citrus peel presence. Hints of orange, lemon and grapefruit as well as a very nice ripe banana scent. Smells slightly tart. Awesome! Extremely well-balance beer that’s on the fuller side of medium body. A perfect amalgam of spicy clove, sweet citrus fruit, corriander and ripe banana notes. The spicy cloves are pretty prominent up front followed by a a perfect blend of lemon peel, orange peel, ripe banana and subtle hops. There is also a very nice slight tartness in the dry finish. This is a complex beer that is extremely drinkable and refreshing. Highly recommended!

Draft. Poured a hazy golden color with a white head. Nice aroma profile that included the likes of banana bread, yeasty bread dough, and a bit of clove. Medium bodied with a bit of citrus tartness on the tongue. I tasted banana, distinct clove, and lemon zest. There was also a light bacon note. Tasty stuff.

aroma is eggy banana and not too different from many regular strength weizens. appearance is hazy but quite light colored yellow. flavor is big sharp carb and distinct and crisp wheat with little in the way of spice or esters. id prefer a bit more of a sipper in this style, but in its defense this is very drinkable for the ABV.
