A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

Aroma is wheat, banana and yeast. Taste is much of the same, but with some alcohol comes in late. Taste is slightly bitter and slightly sour. A nice beer.

Very nice. Slightly spicy, good carbonation. Some malt mixes with it. Unique some citrus, spice, a wheat backbone it seems. High quality. A bit of yeast flavor but everything blends so well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 500ml. Served just below cellar temp. Pours a cloudy honey with a white, dense, foamy head that lasts perfectly. Aroma has strong notes of sweet dried banana and clove with wholegrain bread, dried apple, white pepper, coriander (light) and touches of cinnamon. Flavour has next to no bitterness with notes of sour wheat, clove, cinnamon, dried banana, dried pear, lemon zest with light notes of white pepper and coriander in the finish. Light bodied with medium carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and a decent length finish. Deceptively well hidden ABV; feels more like 5%!

Copenhagen 24/2 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Typical German label with a lot of heraldic shields and ornaments to give you the right medieval feeling when consuming this beer. Pours hazy yellow with big white head. Settles as thin patches of foam. Aroma is intense and quite lemonadelike. A little citrus, fruity sweetness from banana and bubblegum. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavour is kind of watery. Follows the nose but a bit more bland. Fruity sweetness with banana and light lemon. Refreshing lemonade that completely hides its quite prominent alcohol content. Lives up to its name: Lively and refreshing. And you can get a sweet buzz on at the same time.

Aroma principalmente a plátano y clavo , color amarillo ligeramente turbio, generosa espuma blanca y con buena retención. Gusto a banana , especias, miel... Melosa , cuerpo medio -alto , carbonatacion media.

Original. Trouvée à V’n’B - Noyelles Godault

Bottle pour into tulip glass from Downtown Discount Beverage. Aroma is moderately strong banana, fruity esters and cloves. Appearance is hazy yellow (like honey) with two finger-width foamy white head with good retention and beautiful sparkle and mild lacing. Taste is as aroma--moderate banana and fruity ester sweetness with clove and some late alcohol taste. Palate is medium bodied with creamy, silky texture, perfect amount of carbonation to notice/complement but not dominate, and mildly sweet, long fruity finish. Overall, this was a real pleasure all around.
