Yellow orange color. Incredible mild feeling with surprisingly sweet taste. Slight bananas. The consequent improvement of a wheat beer.

Bière blonde aux couleurs tirant sur l’ambre trouble. Des saveurs épicées et une finale asséchante voire collante.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hefeweizen on steroids. Same look and pour, stronger smell, much stronger taste. This one is a great bigger beer: it packs a punch but is not cloying, not too malty or over the top. Very nicely done.
Would drink it again!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Appearance: Light golden and hazy, with a moderate white head that holds nicely.
Aroma: Smacks you in the fave with intense banana and bubble gum esters. A hint of alcohol on the nose as well.
Taste: Layers of rich bready malt up front, spicy clove and banana in the middle, and some doughy/wheat character on the back end.
Mouthfeel: Heavy, creamy body and high carbonation.
Finish: Very malt forward with lingering banana esters.
Overall: Great example of the style with the rich bock maltiness intermingling with the German weizen yeast charter and esters.

4.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 20/20
Bottle into a glass. Pours a hazy yellow with a thick white head. Bananas and fruits on the nose. Medium mouthfeel. Beer has a perfect balance of the bananas and cloves, with a slight bubblegum flavor. Almost exactly like the regular wheat, only stronger and more flavorful. Almost no alcoholic taste. A wonderful wheat from the masters of the style.

500mL from The Abbey in DeLand, FL. Pours a murky golden orange with a thin white head; really nice lacing. Bright fruit aromas - mostly citrus. Some light earthy notes as well. Taste is quite sweet, somewhat watery, and thin on the finish. Acquire.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pint Bottle poured into Weizen glass. Appearance is cloudy, light copper color with tons of foamy, off-white head. Aroma is full of bread, banana, and clove. Taste is malty sweet, bready, some toast, fruit, and a very slight bitterness. Palate is full-bodied, very soft texture, soft carbonation, and a smooth finish. Not as good as Schneider’s but still an excellent Weizenbock.

Bottle, on tulip glass. Big white head. Hazy deep yellow. Hop, wheat bread and lemon on very fresh aroma. Strong, fresh, open delight. Nice airy palate. White bread, dry fish. Very tasty.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 500 ml from Vrutak, Zagreb. Wheat and banana fruity aroma. Sweetish flavor, yeast, banana and wheat. Good beer, but I can’t say I’m overwhelmed with it.
