Commercial Description:
A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

great to have a heller weizenbock around in case i dont feel like aventinus - i feel stupid not drinking aventinus most of the time because of how good it is and how available it is - but this is a good alternative. all the good stuff about a normal hefe amplified. in fact it doesnt get nearly as out of control as most lagers or ales at 7.7% - still swillable, only bigger. guess normal hefes have lots of fusels as they are. great head on this. vanilla/bread/aftershave aroma. tastes exactly like pavlova.

Kind of like a heller weizenbock. Quite fruity with a somewhat tangy flavor. Had this on tap and found it agreeable, though perhaps a bit too sweet. Pleasant and uite drinkable, though.

This beer pours a cloudy dull yellow with a medium tan head. First off the color of this beer does not lend itself to a weizenbock in my book. But... That being said, this is an exceptional beer. I do not typically rate within the style. I rate how I like the beer. and I really liked this one. Lot’s of bananas and cloves. It might have been a little light for a weizenbock, but it still had great flavor. Maybe they misclassified this beer? Cheers!

16.9 oz bottle from Beerworks of Largo. Hazy goldenin color. Aroma of banana, citrus, clove, and very wheat forward. Taste is banana, clove, citrus, apple and tangy wheat. Creamy medium body, extremely well balanced. No alcohol detected in the aroma or flavor, not an easy task for a blonde weizen bock. This was excellent, glad I finally got to try this.

First thing that struck me was the color- lighter then any Weizen Bock I have ever seen. But very tasty, with a really nice mouthfeel.

Very cloudy, dark golden-yellow body with a lush, frothy white head. The aroma is filled with honey and wheat - slightly sweet in the aroma, but quite spicy. The spiciness comes out in the flavor. It’s well-balanced: mild sweetness paired with just enough citrus acidity from orange peel. Very good.

Cloudy glowing orange beer, with a substantial, frothy head - lively, zesty aroma of citrus rinds, bananas, yeast, bright wheat tartness, peppery spices - creamy body - tangy, nearly tart up front, with over-ripe apple and banana dominating - very mild clove, moderate sweetness, and some warming spiciness arrive later - yeast/wheat/bread character comes in near the finish, with veers back toward the tangy side of things, leaving lingering fruitiness behind - really well-balanced and delicious.
