Weihenstephaner Vitus

VERY nice.. citrus, spicy aroma and there is a lingering of black pepper. Creamy texture and smooth alcohol was smooth even ough 7.7% want more, but not sure where I found this - trip to Houston??

Enjoyed with my mates from the Barossa Brewers Club this beer pours mit-hefe and has the banana, clove aroma of the hefe-weisen but its not as pronounced. The palate is chewy and rich and the higher alcohol gives the beer a juiciness. Very nice beer!

Radegast: humpen: Massive beer poured into a massive dimpled mug! Slightly hazy bright orange/ coppper pour leavin 2 fingers of white, dry head. The nose is complex, bananas for sure, yeasts and sugars, som bitter notes as well. The taste is equally complex: the banana tones up front, giving way to spice, through cloves maybe pepper... gives the sweet balance. The finish is a mix of the sweet/ spice with a slight touch of alcohol. Great brew.

German bottle into a pint glass. Solid example of the style. Nice malt back and sweet deliciousness... good stuff!

Bottle vioa the rip and run. Two inch head settles upon the evenly cludy honey gold elixer. Remaining quarter inch head is renewed steadily by relaxed carbonation until end. No lacing to speak of. Nose of reserved spice. Tounge is washed with gentle pepper, cloves, and then the honeyed malts emerge. Mellow muted medium body. These cats have the unpretentious quality presentation down to a science. Gonna go get me some more of this.

Color is light gold and a little cloudy. Aroma is floral, yeast, and wheat malts. Taste is of sweeter malts. Has a little n bit of a bite in the end.

Great, banana-yeast aroma. Twangy, simple syrup sweetness, nice bittering. The alcohol is edgy. Reminded me a good bit of Don de Dieu. Pretty clean, bitter finish. Nice label, moderately cloudy, murky yellow. New Leaf Market.

Hazy yellow with a thick, white head. Spicy and fruity tones. Malt, fruit and hops. Medium body with a well balanced finish.
