Commercial Description:
A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

a nice citrus aroma, hazy yellow-orange with a pinpoint head. Spicy. Flavor is sour and creamy with an alcohol bite. Nice mouthfeel.

500ml bottle. Pours a huge, rocky-meringue, lasting white head with a hazy, golden body. Unexpectedly light color. Some very light yeast clouds dancing around. Excellent, clumpy lacing that could be spooned out. Heavy malt aroma of bread, grain, cereal and doughy yeast. Big yeasty, phenolic spice aromas - mainly clove and a touch of coriander. Lower levels of fruity esters, which I like. Very light banana with a bit of pear. Medium-full body with a creamy texture and a bit of pleasantly warming alcohol. Average carbonation with a very lightly bitter finish...just enough to balance the sweetness. Overall an awesome beer. I’ll be buying some more of this.

Banana and lemon bouquet, not very strong. Dingy yellow color, with a huge white head. Very noticeable alcohol, stinging mouthfeel. Similar to a carbonated lemondrop (lemon juice and vodka), but with cloves. Wheat grass finish.

A hazy golden weizen bock with a super thick and creamy white head. A nice and rich yeasty aroma, with bananas, vanilla fudge, light sulfuric and mineral notes, very pleasant. In mouth, a nice refreshing wb, not too sweet or heavy, with light banana puree, cloves, again, lighter than expected but well balanced. Medium bodied with light hopping in finale.

Bottle. Hazy deep gold body with a large, frothy white head that lasts. Aroma is thick with grain with plenty of banana esters and a hint of clove. The alcohol is detectable in the aroma. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. Alcohol warming. Slight tang behind the sweetness. Tastes of sweet bananas with alcohol like banana’s foster. Medium to full body with a velvety texture. Lively carbonation. Very nice.

Pours light straw with a lot of fizzy head which congeals into a smooth, pillowy top. Huge wheat aromas with a hint of citrus hops. Sweet white peach flavor with a bit of grape; hops only detectable by a faint tingle on the tongue. Long, bready finish and a round mouthfeel. Quite good, if a bit one-dimensional; I would have never pegged this one as a Weizenbock.

Bottle. Pours a super cloudy orange with a massive, frothy, everlasting white head and visibly active carbonation. It’s really a beautiful sight in the weizen glass. The aroma is spicy and peppery with lots of clove and banana, everything deliciately blanced. The flavor is a little harsher than I’d expect from Weihenstephan, but not bad. It’s surprisingly hoppy in a husky, vegetal way and a rye flavor is present. The finishes with esters of clove and banana with a metallic twang. This is heartier than the hefeweizen and a little more tart. Pretty good.

Bottle. Foamed over a little bit. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Spicy and yeasty aroma, with clove and banana. The flavor has doughy, bready malts, clove, banana, and a bit of an acidic hint. Pretty good, but I’ve had way better weizen bocks.
