A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

appearance: cloudy golden orange with 2 finger white head and good amount of tiny bubbles that keep the head going, although the head pretty quickly dissipates to about half a finger. minimal lacing. aroma: bready with dried fruit (maybe figs?). very nice. taste: very good-- lightly sweet; lightly bitter, palate: fizzy carbonation, medium body; excellent crisp finish with some extra sweetness at the very end. overall-- very good beer. will be having this one again for sure. the balance of the taste and crisp finish is great.

Bottle @ Home The nose on this beer sets the too which all other Weizenbocks are compared. A rush of bannana, hints of clove. Taste is great, perfect mouth feel, the carbonation is moderate. The real beauty of this beer is the complexity of the flavor, subtly spicy, deceptively easy to drink but still a beer of substance.

Poured from a pint bottle into a weizen glass on 12.21.13. A: 2 1/2 finger fluffy head. Golden. S: Banana, banana bread, lemon. T: Follows the nose. Banana, lemon, yeast. M: Creamy smooth. O: This is the best weizenbock I’ve ever had. It’s a banana and lemon bomb. Fantastic!

Excellente véritable blanche allemande au col de mousse abondant. Bouquet de bananes mûres/clous de girofle, corps plein très porté sur le blé, bonne pétillance, se boit tout seul mais attention aux effets secondaires !

Bottle @ home. Pours a cloudy yellow with full head and lots of carbonation. Aromas of lemons, banana, dough, and wheat. Flavors of candied fruit, cloves, bananas, and wheat. Creamy, foamy and fruity.

A great balance of tastes, beautifully textured , perfectly viscous and smooth as Silk.

Looks like a Weizen. Aroma is concentrated sweet bananas, estery, spicy. Warming, spicy taste with a warming finish, a little bit metallic in the finish at first. Weizen texture, not boozy despite the warmth. A fantastic Weizenbock (which already is a style I particularly enjoy) though I personally prefer Aventinus.

Yellow orange color. Incredible mild feeling with surprisingly sweet taste. Slight bananas. The consequent improvement of a wheat beer.

Bière blonde aux couleurs tirant sur l’ambre trouble. Des saveurs épicées et une finale asséchante voire collante.
