Commercial Description:
A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

Bottled. An unclear light orange beer with a huge beige head. The aroma is very sweet and very wheaty, but also with quite strong notes of citrus, and some hay. The flavor is sweet and very wheaty combined with notes of citrus and banana. The mouthfeel is quite sparkling, but also with a thick alcoholic body. I think darker malts would make this better.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Sweetish banana aroma. Rather full in body with a high degree of sweetness, lots of banana and cloves. The finish is sweet. 120507

Draught at Bishop’s Arms SoFo, Stockholm. Cloudy dark yellow, small head. Strong banana aroma with a touch of toffee. Sweet and malty, fruity and near full bodied with some caramel and lots of banana esters. Alcohol is there, but acts in the background. Low bitterness. A warming, fruity beer, feels just as a ramped up hefeweizen.

Bottle, 7.7%. Banana aroma. Cloudy yellow colour, OK white head. Very powerful flavour, lots of ripe banana. Good sweetness and alcohol to balance. My kind of Weizenbock.

Bottled. Hazy paler golden colour with mediumsized creamy head, some lacing. Aroma is bananas, spices and some wheat. Slight hints of alcohol, but not disturbing much. Flavour is a lot of wheat, spices, some yeast and also some grassyness. Wellbalanced, quite refreshing and alcohol is quite wellhidden.
