Commercial Description:
A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

Thanks to weeare138. Pours a hazy golden orange with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma banana, cloves, sweet wheat notes and some citrus notes. Flavor of the same banana, clove and citrus notes. Also getting a decent amount of malty sweet notes. Some cereal grains as well.

Bottle in Italy. Wheaty, but with a strong alcohol character. Sourish, not easy to drink. Compared to their classic styled beers, this did not impress me at all.

Bottle. Huge foamy, fizzy white head that mostly diminished, virtually no lacing, fast rising carbonation, transparent, and a pale yellow hue. The aroma was sweet, bananas, hint of citrus, spicy, clove, and lightly tart. Ditto for the flavor. Mildly tingly mouthfeel and light-medium in body. A most quaffable beer, easy drinking, ABV well masked, well balanced, extremely tasty, worthy of a try, and definitely a beer I would drink again if it comes my way. A beer that would be nice to have on hand a lot of the time. More please!

Bottle. Hazy gold. Awfully light colored for a weizenbock. Aroma is DELICIOUS! Light banana, soft caramel, apple skins, spice, light grains, yeast and bubblegum. Taste is big bubblegum and wheat with yeast notes, candyish banana, and light lemon. Body is bubbly and effervescent. Medium to light-medium overall feel. Finishes with more bubblegum and banana, light caramel, wheat, yeast, spices and candy. Very nice despite its deceiving color.

St. Petersburg, Fl. - Shep’s Deli - 500 ml bottle. Murky, light golden pour with a fluffy snow white head that sticks around quite a while - thought weizenbocks were supposed to be dark?. Strong banana and clove aroma. Flavor has the same elements, very full bodied and potent with some good ester notes. Flavor is very tangy - for lack of a better word. Thick, rich, sticky mouthfeel. Surprised I have not come across this before.

Draft. Poured a hazy golden color with a white head. Nice aroma profile that included the likes of banana bread, yeasty bread dough, and a bit of clove. Medium bodied with a bit of citrus tartness on the tongue. I tasted banana, distinct clove, and lemon zest. There was also a light bacon note. Tasty stuff.

Dark yellow colored with big white head and good weizen cloudiness. Rich weizen-banana aroma with spices and yeast, only mild alcohol there. Medium bodied. Flavor is also rich, alcohol and full body makes difference to basic weiss-beers. Banana and spices dominate also here, some sour fruits present too. Crispy palate. Aftertaste dries with banana and mild alcohol.

Tap, Bokbierfestival Utrecht. Cloudy golden color, big white head. Aroma of banana, wheat, some vanilla, hint of smoke, malt. Taste of a hefeweizen, but with more power, more malt, some vanilla again, bit caramel. Good stuff.
