Spicy and yeasty aroma, with clove and banana. The flavor has doughy, bready malts, clove, banana, and a bit of an acidic hint. Pretty good, but I’ve had way better weizen bocks. daniele (1756), Italy

Frutiy, full of bananas, lemons, a little bit of hops, no alcohol at all. Really an awesome smelling beer. Taste is sweet and fruity, easy to drink, no alcohol is detected at all. Sweet but not too sweet, very easy to drink. This one went away really quick. Something I will buy again, great stuff. Butters (1689), Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 28, 2009 Hazy yellow pour withquickly fading offwhite ring of head. Aroma of sweet wheat and a very bready yeast, but not quite belgian, more like day old bread. Tastes of alcohol esters, rose petals, wheat, and a hint of banana, but hardly noticable. A distinct peppery spice on the finish. Not bad, but not my favorite from these guys. JB175 (1665), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours a super cloudy orange with a massive, frothy, everlasting white head and visibly active carbonation. It’s really a beautiful sight in the weizen glass. The aroma is spicy and peppery with lots of clove and banana, everything deliciately blanced. The flavor is a little harsher than I’d expect from Weihenstephan, but not bad. It’s surprisingly hoppy in a husky, vegetal way and a rye flavor is present. The finishes with esters of clove and banana with a metallic twang. This is heartier than the hefeweizen and a little more tart. Pretty good. Marsiblursi (1659), Göteborg, Sweden

The aroma is of wheat, banana, clove, floral incense and some vanilla powder. Rather creamy on the nose. The flavour is very wheaty with tones of banana and clove. Hints of grain, salt and flowers. The mouthfeel is creamy and well carbonated. A wheat-ish graininess lingers in the aftertaste with a touch banana. Medium bodied. Nice. kiefdog (1655), Tampa, Florida, USA
