A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

Bottle pours a cloudy gold with a thin but retentive white head. Aromas of pear, banana, and spices. Lively carbonation. Taste is rich and sweet maltiness, well balanced. Banana, citrus, coriander, and an herbal, fizzy finish. Great alcohol masking.

Aroma of pears, bananas and wheat. Bananas, cashews, almonds, and hard fruits. Full bodied, and a fantastic example of a bock.

Hazy, yellow/gold appearance with a small white head and a fair amount of lacing. Wheat and yeasty esters prominent in the aroma. Flavors incorporate the wheat, spices and some soft fruit. Smooth, lush, slightly sweet aftertaste. Full-to-medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel leading to a long lasting finish.

It is one of my favourite beer. Gold and troubled colour and the carbonation is weak. The taste is sweet with banana and plum touch and the final sensation in the mouth is pleasant. I drank this beer in a nice place in Lausanne.

Bottle BBE: 30.06.16. Cellar temp. Pours a hazy gold-amber with small, tight, off-white head. High intensity nose, strong on over-ripe banana, sweet foam bananas and Belgian yeast, with some corned beef, vanilla, and rice pudding. A medium-strong banana sweetness dominates the taste buds, with only a gentle bitterness underneath. Itís full-bodied with a thick, creamy texture, medium carbonation and a sweet, chewy finish. A great beer in its own right that has a drinkability that belies its strength, it nevertheless lacks the complexity and depth of Aventinus.

Bottle. Pours pale yellow with a big, pure white, thick & creamy, quickly diminishing head that leaves some lace. Big flavors of clove, banana, yeast, dough and funkyness. Medium body, average carbonation and a lightly astringent finish. Reminds me of a good sasion.

Caramel, allspice, banana, creamy. Low bitterness, finishes clean. It goes down sooooooo smoothly. The higher alcohol content is well masked and Iím sure Iíll feel it later. An adult banana split in a glass. Iíve been disappointed many times by wheat beers in the past, both German and Belgian. This one delivers and is the best one Iíve ever had. Heck, itís one of the best beers Iíve ever had, period.
