A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

It poured a hazy yellow/orange and initially leaves a big three inch white foamy head in my weizen glass. The head does eventually die after five minutes. The very hazy yellow/orange body does show some light slowly moving carbonation. The smell has the clove up front with the esters powerfully backing it up. Some lemon comes out as well. As the beer warms, it gets a bit more peppery. The taste is sweet yet peppery at different times. It comes across pretty smooth in the taste. The palate is about a medium and initially sharp cutting my tongue like a knife. Fortunately, as the beer warms, it smoothes out a bit. This is not exactly a sessionable beer, a one and done bomber, though the alcohol isn’t tasted, it gently gets felt after a good hour. There is a slight sticky aftertaste and finish. Overall, this is good for its style and good for me.

0,50 bottles purchased at Beerville store in Belgrade-Serbia. Ciao Vlada! Pours cloudy vivid golden, a bit pale with a never ending and tick white cap. Nose: wheat, banana, clove, spices. Mouth: gentle carbonation, mild and pleasant bread feel, medium dry finish. Never too sweet neither too dry or bitter. Perfect execution of the style (which sadly I do not admire). ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Brauhaus Schmitz in Philly. Cloudy gold with a large creamy white head that disappears quickly. Lemony wheat malt nose. Yeasty lemon wheat flavor with notes of banana and clove. Bittersweet fruity mid taste. Tart yeasty finish. Quite tasty. Prost.

Sweet aromas. Banana, bread, spritzy yeasty goodness. Cloudy with huge white head that stays forever. Nice lacing. Taste compliments aroma in each and every way. Great weizenbock.

Bottle, 50cL. Home. A bubbly pale yellow opaque beer with a big creamy white head ; great retention. Aroma of banana, citrus, cereal, spices, alcohol, biscuit. Medium to heavy sweet, light herbal bitter ; ephemeral refreshing breeze ; warming background. Full body, smooth thin silky texture, average carbonation, sweet warming background. Overall, pleasant weizenbock ; great aroma ; too sweet ; thin texture.

Golden colour with small but compact head. Aroma of dark fruits, bananas, citrus and some hebs. Taste of hops, dark fruits and bananas which prevails in aftertaste. Very drinkable beer.

Poured from 1 pint, 9 ounce bottle purchased at Market District Giant Eagle in Columbus, Ohio, tasted on March 12, 2015. Cloudy yellow hue, banana/clove aroma, banana/spice/wheat flavor with some depth. Not exactly my thing--it seems to have more hefeweizen attributes than I would have expected-- but graded leniently since it is well made. Anyone who is a fan of the style or of hefeweizens should definitely try it.

Golden orange color, hazy with perfect head and lacing. Aroma of clives, banana, yeast. Taste a bit sweet with lemon sour notes, very drinkable, slightly sweet finish with a hint of akcohol reminding this is bock beer. Absolutely great brew.
