A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

It poured a hazy yellow/orange and initially leaves a big three inch white foamy head in my weizen glass. The head does eventually die after five minutes. The very hazy yellow/orange body does show some light slowly moving carbonation. The smell has the clove up front with the esters powerfully backing it up. Some lemon comes out as well. As the beer warms, it gets a bit more peppery. The taste is sweet yet peppery at different times. It comes across pretty smooth in the taste. The palate is about a medium and initially sharp cutting my tongue like a knife. Fortunately, as the beer warms, it smoothes out a bit. This is not exactly a sessionable beer, a one and done bomber, though the alcohol isn’t tasted, it gently gets felt after a good hour. There is a slight sticky aftertaste and finish. Overall, this is good for its style and good for me.

Full, deep wheat taste for a dark beer without a bitter note. Took a few sips to appreciate the full complexity of the taste; then it was very enjoyable. Worth drinking again.

Pours hazy pale straw, with a huge billowy white head, that leaves sticky lace in its wake.
Aroma is big on banana, with some spices and lemon, and a touch of bubblegum.
Flavor is sweet banana, tart wheat, citric acid, and spicy clove.
Medium bodied with a long sweet and spicy finish.
Sweetness gets a bit cloying near the end of the glass, and the alcohol peeks through, but all-in-all a tasty beer.

Hazy yellow, orangish pour from draft. Citrus aroma. Taste is banana clove. Very robust Weiss beer. Finishes very strong for the style of beer. This is your grampa's hefeweizen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50cl bottle @ home from Mitra. Slightly hazy pale golden color, extra big creamy white mostly lasting good lacing head. Aroma apple, caramel, cereal, parfume, banana. Taste medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, hint of umami. Light to medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, sweetish fruity finish with medium duration. Very refreshing, can’t feel the difference between this and just another weizen beer, not bad thow.
