A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

An easy-drinking sweet hefe. Orange colored with big white head, aroma of yeasts and dog’s breath. Flavor is less yeasty and more grainy, standard flavors present. Different from Aventinus.

Pours hazy yellow with dense white top. Nose is quite weak, some fruits, flour, banana, wheat. Taste has also banana, flour, corn, some weak spices. Abv is well hidden. Nice sweet beer!

L: -pours a cloudy bright golden with a medium to big, creamy, white head -medium to high carbonation visible S: banana, clove, coriander, white bread, lemon T: -Follows the nose plus white peppers and a big sweetness F: -medium carbonation (not as spritzy as usual wheat beers) -light to medium body -alcohol well hidden O: Vitus is basically Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier on steroids. Crazy drinkable for a Weizenbock too.

0,5l bottle at home as part of the Euro Local Swap courtesy of Beerhunter111, big thanks. BB 25.05.2016. light yellow hazy color, medium big white head. smells of spices, ripe fruits, peach, light yeast. full body, medium carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of spices, light sweetness, ripe fruits again, peach, banana, lightly citric, a bit soapy, lightly peppery. finishes dry with notes of spices and peach. decent stuff, not overly complex but drinkable.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2016 Hazy yellow with a big frothy white foam. Nice wheat taste. Not too much banana compare to Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier. Full body and very little alcohol. If i want smooth wheat beer i will choose Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier if feel like getting a stronger wheat beer this is it! Or i can enjoy both at the same time! Weihenstephaner night out!

Flasche - Was das Aroma angeht, fällt das Vitus deutlich hinter das normale Weizen zurück. Hier gibt man sich klarer, struktureller, unaufgeregter. Gut gemacht, aber etwas eindimensional. Der Alkohol ist perfekt eingebunden.

Hazy yellow with a big frothy white cap of foam. Fantastic example of the style. Wheat. Not too much banana. Bit of spice. Caramel. The yeast is excellent. Classic. No alcohol. A little tang. Full body. Creamy and effervescent. Complex and interesting, yet balanced and approachable.
