A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

Bottle purchased at Total Wine, Gilbert, AZ. Pours a butterscotch-yellow, with a massive white head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is banana, CLOVE, bread/yeast and malt. Taste is sweet, banana, clove, coriander and yeast. Finish is sweet and refreshing. This is as good as wheat beer gets. True brewing art. For itís style, one of the best beers in the world.

Not just one of the best wheat beers, but one of the best beers that i had ever had. Just the right amount of everything...alcohol, hops, wheat, banana and cloves taste. Perfectly balanced! Got that, American brewers? If you cannot make a balanced brew, then give up and leave it to the experts, the Germans and the Britons.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. Taste sweet, banana, citrus. I thought this was very good. I would most definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Astoundingly good wheat beer. The frothy, long-lasting head releases aromas of bubblegum, banana, and grain. Forget about gimmicky spices; this weizen bock is all about the wheat. Its mouthfeel is soft and refreshing. Taste reflects more of those bubblegum and banana qualities. In summary, this is a world-class wheat ale.

Wow, this beer brings so many memories back for me from Germany. Aroma is spot on for a great Weizen. Pours a beautiful thin yellow with a very thick white head.

Hazy yellow with big, foamy, white head / Bright nose of lemon, banana straw, clove, and coriander / Medium body, moderately tart and sweet, creamy, with beautiful balance and long finish with just a hint of bitterness / Flavors of orange, lemon, banana, clove, straw, and coriander / Near perfect, with an especially luscious body.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2007 Pours a creamy, tawny yellow color w/ a full, semi creamy froth. Superb hangtime reducing slowly to a fine silky canopy. Strong aromas of meaty banana cream pie, lemony citrus, and spice. Very nice indeed! Medium full nectar w/ luscious, creamy residual effers. Thick and malty w/ strong flavors of creamy bananas, fresh lemons, and spicey cloves. Theres a fruity, tropical character that shines through w/ nuances of pineapple, kiwi, and wild apple. The malts are thick but the tropical acids cut through and balance perfectly. The finish long and tastey w/ lingering fruity spice. Highly recommended.

Bottle. Pale colour, probably the only weak point this beer has is its slightly cloudy insipid appearance. The flavour is another story altogether, despite its 7.7% abv. there is no alcohol warming, a sweet vanilla, banana, taste. Mmmmmmm this is what itís all about!
