Commercial Description:
A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

Pours a creamy, tawny yellow color w/ a full, semi creamy froth. Superb hangtime reducing slowly to a fine silky canopy. Strong aromas of meaty banana cream pie, lemony citrus, and spice. Very nice indeed! Medium full nectar w/ luscious, creamy residual effers. Thick and malty w/ strong flavors of creamy bananas, fresh lemons, and spicey cloves. Theres a fruity, tropical character that shines through w/ nuances of pineapple, kiwi, and wild apple. The malts are thick but the tropical acids cut through and balance perfectly. The finish long and tastey w/ lingering fruity spice. Highly recommended.

Bottle. Pale colour, probably the only weak point this beer has is its slightly cloudy insipid appearance. The flavour is another story altogether, despite its 7.7% abv. there is no alcohol warming, a sweet vanilla, banana, taste. Mmmmmmm this is what it’s all about!

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 500ml. or 1 pint .9oz bottle into a weizen glass. Appearance: It had a golden color, which was lighter than I had expected and a hazy unfiltered body. The head is just off white in color and builds up tall and thick then very slowly fades making slick patchy lacing on the glass. Smell: The aroma had sweet malty wheat notes with yeast and estery fruitiness. Taste/Mouth feel: There are estery flavor notes of banana, apple, golden raison and bubble gum within a mildly sweet and tangy wheat malt. Also there are hints of clove and some mild spicy hops for balance. It has a solid medium body with a palate that is smooth and a touch slick with pleasing carbonation. Notes: Outstanding!!!

This is an awesome beer. Thick, cloudy, golden and full of effervescence. The strength is noticeable, but the flavor of the alcohol and the malt has a very full, robust, classic German feel to it. All the malt character of any good bock beer and a nice fresh, light tartness that comes from the wheat. Finishes caramel sweet. A classic.

Bottle @ La Tortula: A clear colored Weizenbock, full of aroma and flavour. A great refreshing beer.

Only my second Weizenbock and what a superb brew. Very good banana nose with nice unfiltered appearence. The taste is outstanding and does taste like a hyper Hefeweizen. Would definately buy again.

Layers of banana, vanilla, clove and spice that has a complexity and mouth feel that is uncommon for the style. Intensely sweet, but strongly balanced and flavored. Nose showcases typical weisse notes. Light golden colored with a filmy white head. Stunning wheat ale.
