COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

16.9oz Bottle. The pour was a murky golden yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white rocky head that lasted throughout, reducing slightly to a small cap with excellent sheets of lacing. The aroma was of a light biscuit malt, light citrus hops and a sweaty yeasty with notes of banana, green apple, citrus (lemon), clove and a touch of honey. The taste was lightly sweet and very mildly malty with a hint of citrus that lasted throughout, and finished with a spicy yeast taste and had just a bit of banana at the end. The flavor stuck around for an average duration following the swallow, with a refreshing spicy citrus taste left lying on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was right between light and medium in body with a dry, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Overall this was a very tasty and refreshing brew that had a great spicy banana ending and an awesome drinkability...

Draught at Coffee Tree, Kfar Saba. Hazy orange with medium creamy off-white head. Aroma of wheat, fruity (mostly banana), yeasty, grainy, faint sausage notes. Flavor of wheat, fruity (banana, citrus), some graininess, the alcohol is quite noticeable, sweet-sour finish. Light carbonation, Medium-bodied

500ml bottle. Smells as it tastes. That is sour. Banana and clove with a sour edge. I’m probably showing my ignorance here but Id say this is not as good a beer as its made out to be.

This is the perfect Weizen. A Weizen Bock is always preferred when available versus a regular Weizen. This one is a Helles, in color. The hop nose is subtle and subdued, appropriate for the style. The flavor of the Weihenstephan yeast strain is perfectly balanced with this high Gravity Bavarian Wheat Ale. The ethanol content is insidious and beckons one to order just one more, again and again. Weihenstephan is my favorite Weizen yeast strain. Although variety is truly the spice of life, shall I constrain myself to this strain, or shall I train my brain on another strain? That is the question.

Aroma is coriander, biscuit, yeast, orange, and banana. Taste is very light sweet wheat grain profile. Light hop profile but overall well balanced. Overall very very good with a nice complexity that finishes astonishingly smooth. Appearance is a slightly cloudy straw body with a bubbly foam head that retains well.
