Flasche 50cl. Absolut unterirdisches Etikettendesign. Sieht aus wie billiges Discounter-Bier. Solides, ehrliches Lager, frisch, süffig, da gibts nix zu meckern.

50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of bready malts, some grass, honey, hay, relatively sweet. Flavour is malty, has a tiny hint of smoke, light herbal and grassy, light-bitter finish. OK, not as crisp as I hoped.

Zacny i subtelny lager. Ładny zloty kolor o ślicznej pianie. Oleisty i średnio nasycony. Nuty słodowe przypominają miód i chleb. Do tego lekko, bardzo subtelnie przypalana skórka chleba. Gorycz delikatna i krotki posmak.

50cl bb02/2015, catered by Daniel, merci. Well-rounded, cereal and protein cream of a chuggable lager, grainy dry in the finish, with no blind corners. Natural hops playing hedgerow second fiddle to the malts in the back.

Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty, more and more spicy, fine hoppy background. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Not bad!

On tap at the brewery. Really clean grainy aroma, grassy herbal notes, citrusy, not as farmy as Zehendner but certainly along the same lines, maybe just a bit cleaner. Taste is fresh and crisp cereal, light grassy notes. Palate is very light with light carbonation. Gone in a jiffy.

Clear blond beer, aery white irregular head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: grains, hay, sweet malts. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: some citrus, grains, bit sweet, some banana. Aftertaste: little bitter, grassy, citrus, sweet banana, dry bitter ending. Very decent lager.

Pours a clear golden yellow color with a nice white head. The smell is bready, grainy with a touch of light fruit and grass. The taste is light sweet malt, grain, hint of citrus and some dryness and bitterness on the end. Fairly light with some slickness with nice fine carbonation.

A: Pale, clear, large thick head, great lacing and retention, lots of bubbles, looks lively and inviting. S: Grassy, noble hop aroma, Spalt or Hallertau?. T: Sour dough, grassy, slight sweetness at the finish, well balanced. M: Light, crisp, well carbonated. O: Really impressed by the look and feel, didn’t smell or taste bad either, a good refreshing, fairly interesting Lager.
