The longest lasting head that I have seen in a while, lasts through the entire beer leaving lots of lace in the krug. Beer is golden. Aroma leaps out of the mug, is on the earthy side but in a class of its own. the closest thing to describe is whole meal bread but it dries out in the finish after passing through a lot of spicy (not grassy or herbal) hops.
