Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden coloured,slightly hazy, medium-sized white fluffy head, sticking to the glass, visible carbonation; delicate sweetis-hoppy nose with a faint metallic tinge; light sweetish-bitter flavour, soft MF; mild, but lingering sweet-malty and aromatic finish. (swing top bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a foamy white and quite lasting medium-sized head. Strawy malty, slightly grainy and citusy aroma, with herbal hops. Soft bitter flavour, light to medium body, crispy carbonation. Soft malt-based strawy and slightly grainy taste with balanced hops; dryish, moderately bitter aromatic herbal hoppy finish. Good one.

fresh bottle in Bamberg. brilliant clear gold body with a fine-bubbled, soft white whipped cream head. exceptionally soft and silky body as with all of their products. succulent semi-sweet honey-glazed baked cracker pilsner malt with a minerallic / calcium yeast and water quality that says without question that this is a German product. citrus-like lemon and dried herbs / flowers aroma dance and waft without end. frothy with rich carbonation and rigid malt texture, drying, smacking finish is perfectly clean, and the hop acids are quenching and the bitterness perfectly suited for the body and sweetness level. very, very hard to beat this for German pilsner.

bottle, thanks to Bochum! Clear yellow, large and creamy head. Malty and hopp. slightly fruity with a Bohemian accent. Clean and crisp, a good one.

Draft served in krug (!). Has lasting cap. Aroma is similar to the lager but has a lot more herbs detectable as well as gin. Not as grainy as the lager too, but has fresh grain in the background. Salty. Has a juicy palate. Very nice dose of herbs, has basil character.

A bit one-dimensional towards the finish

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy pale malts with a soft floral bitterness and a relatively clean finish. Pretty good.
