Smells pretty wheaty with a hint of cream. Flavor has a bit of banana right away and never again. Mostly the wheat dominates. Disclaimer: the food came at the same time as this beer, and it smelt so bad that it may have affected this score.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy light brownish gold with a small white head, low retention and served with a lemon. Aroma of lemon, a fair amount of wheat, and a light American ale yeast. This is not a hefe. Flavor is pretty wheaty without any glaring defects. Not much sweetness--getting a little doughy yeast as well. Minimal bitterness. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Not too bad, so long as you know it’s an American wheat.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy pale yellow, small head. Neutral aroma. Medium sweet with clean mouthfeel, notes of vegetables but no esters. No bitterness. Dull and lifeless.
