From keg at the Euston Tap on 9 September 2014. Hazy amber colour. Very fresh, tropical hops bursting out in the aroma. More good tart hop character on the palate. Quite dry. Dammit, I was enjoying this so much that I forgot to write much. Guess I’ll have to come back to it. No hardship there. Didn’t have it pegged as a saison though. Certainly none of that fruity, estery nonsense that is all too prevalent in "saisons" nowadays.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light toffee caramel, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sour with a mineral earthy light citrus palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg at The Fox, Haggerston. Pale yellow / orange, slight haze, lightly sparkling, small white head. Aroma is musty wheat, paper, fruit, white wine. Body is medium to light, soft carbonation. Taste - very crisp, citrus fruits - mainly lemon, hop and wheat characters mixing well. Decent.

Keg at Euston tap. Aroma is lovely earthy sharp lemon, straw with saison yeast and tropical fruits, nelson sauvin hop maybe. Flavour is crisp lemon, straw, more nelson sauvin character. Nice dry finish. Light refreshing body and highly carbonated. Golden orange colour with a lasting white frothy head and some lace. Really delicious. Little bit of floral honeysuckle and solid clean bitterness. Very impressed.

Butters_Hard (17) - Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 9, 2014
This is a super pale brew that leaps out of the bottle at you. Hazy pale straw with loads of white billowy head. Big hop aromas that are classically Nelson Sauvin: grapefruit, gooseberries and kumquat. The palate is lime peel and grapefruit, gooseberries and oranges. Absolutely delicious and far too easy drinking for something knocking on 7%!
