Bottle @ home. Very foamy and cloudy pour. Aroma is fruits, yeast, some malt, yoghurt? Flavour is quite bitter with dark fruity notes, again quite yeasty. The yeast spoils it a bit for me, but still a nice beer.

Bottle. Golden brown with an off white head. Aromas are spiced oranges with toffee and candy sugar. Raisins with hints of banana and Chinese five spice. Herbal with peppery alcohol. Flavours are sweet toffee and brown sugar with herbal notes and mixed spices. Boozy with light oranges and pithy grapefruit. Low pine with a very peppery, warming alcohol finish. Quite yeasty with traces of banana. Nice.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy thin head and a little lace. The aroma is boozy alcohol, rich creamy tropical fruit. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a dry big yeast almost vinous palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not sure it’s a Belgian Tripel as such. I’m not sure what yeast they used but it’s probably not the same as they use in Belgium. Is it preferable to your average Belgian Tripel though? I would have it say that it is.

Draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Hazy golden/copper beer with a nice lasting offwhite head. Yeasty fruity aroma, bready, grapes, hay, spicy notes, figs, candy, herbal notes. Spicy hop flavor, citrus, caramel, hay, floral, candy, hay, raisins, some warming alcohol. Not your average belgian Tripel, bit a decent beer.

330ml bottle shared with jeevan. Pours hazy gold with a massive had, quite over carbonated, predict this might turn into a gusher given its four year BBE! Aromas of banana, cream and bounty bar. Taste has quite a sweetness, yeastiness, too sweet for me. Prickly texture, oily finish.

Keg at Birmingham Beer Bash, Jul ’13, pre ’afternoon nap’. Golden pour with a beautiful big white head. Sweet Belgian aroma with a twist of lemon\lime. Lots of thick bready malts, cut through with a dry finish and a smack of juicy fruit from the hops. Carbonation is a little heavy but otherwise a good riff on a Tripel.

Bottle from Bumbling Madness Drinks Shop, York. Cloudy, yellow golden colour. Thick, bubbly, white head. Flambéed pineapple. Pear drops. Taste is initial sweetness, followed by a grapefruit marmalade, tangy, dry finish. Medium body. Overly carbonated.

330ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Peach, lemon and yeast in the aroma. Yeast, peach, tea and syrup in the taste. Easy to drink.

Draught at Söder om Småland, Malmö
Cloudy amber color with compact head. Aroma of fudge, hence a bit buttery and suspicious. Good body structure; it had a good and rare real fudge flavor without the feared diacetyl, caramel, some nice sharp spicy yeast, very light aniseed, and fairly strong bitterness; warming alcohol feeling too.
Good.

Bottle poured into tulip glass. Orange-brown (more brown) with a very thick almost white head. Lasts for ages. Aroma is peppery, a little spice, a little banana. Sort of weizeny. Taste is pretty sweet, with a mid-bitter finish. Not as yeasty as I was expecting.
