Pours black with a dense, fine brown head. Nose is coffee, lots of charcoal, vanilla. Flavor is lots of coffee, a good dose of charcoal, light caramel, condensed milk, a hint of bitter chocolate on the finish. The body is strangely light since itís 3.8%, but at the same time the lactose gives it a viscosity and unctuousness. Really interesting, really great.

500ml bottle from drinkstore. dark brown pour, thin, tan head, doesnt last. Heaps and heaps of espresso coffee in the aroma, think i can get a bit of lactose too, along with some dusty roasted malt. Flavour is sweet and fizzy up front, followed by a loooong gently rising coffee bitterness. Big body, lush, creamy mouthfeel, medium low carbonation. Long finish, with oily coffee notes. Very good, amazing its only 3.8

Bottle. A clear looking dark brown beer with a small, dense, beige head. The aroma has lots of lovely coffee, with mocha and dark chocolate. Roasted malts. Itís quite thin on the palate, expected for a beer at this ABV, with a very soft carbonation level. Mocha, roasted malts, dark chocolate and some dried fruits. Some lacto notes. Lasting mocha and dark chocolate finish with a little bitterness. Pretty wonderful low ABV coffee stout I would like to have as a regular in my local grocery store. 140808
