Keg at Hanging Bat. Pours dark Brown with a Cream head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. The flavour has a good wack of coffee and distinct milky chocolate. There’s also some ashy burnt toast. The sweetness of the lactose is there but not really prominent. Very nice.

Cask at CBC Brixton. Very dark with thin head. Vanilla, licorice, coke, dark rum aroma. Taste isn't as complex, but is good. It's the same as the aroma but in smaller doses. Fairly light, a touch too light bodied maybe. Nice bitterness at the end. Good.

50 cl bottle @ home. Batch #0003, bottled 03/2013, BBE 03/2015
Aroma has lots of mocha notes and some jalopeno‐like vegetables. Flavour has mocha coffee, ashy notes and some licorice. Also some lactic notes after some sips. Feels watery, but not bad for a 3,7% beer. And not very ’sweet’.

Rich Smokey coffee with dates, sweet lactose and some meaty malt notes. Opaque dark brown with light tan lacing. Medium body and carbonation. Dry rich coffee comes first, followed by condensed milk sweetness, finishing with ashen espresso coffee. Touch of cola and umami savoury notes on warming. Very sessionable

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. A dark brown-black beer with a powerful floral, fruity coffee flavour, milk chocolate notes and a bitter roasted finish. A superb beer, even better considering its below 4% ABV.

Pretty good. Loads of coffee, quite impressed. Shared with Missus, she liked it too. Does well for abv low. I know you’re bored now.
