COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stouts should be thick and full bodied due to how you brew them, not because you serve them with nitrogen. Get away from the metallic nitro-kegged stouts and have a little bit of decadence in the glass. Multiple grains types and precise brewing leave decadence stout with an opulent mouthfeel and generous head. Rich with chocolate and coffee roast flavours with just a touch of oat creaminess. Treat yourself!

[6501-20140709] Cask. Not a lot of aroma, some roasted grains. Lack body with a big long-lasting creamy tan head. Mild grains and roasted wood flavour has a mild bitter finish. Full body. Good, easy to drink. (7/5/7/3/14) 3.6

Bottle. Dark, with a one finger off white head. Classic stout aroma- roast malts, toasty hints, chocolate and a hint of coffee. Quite full in the mouth, chocolate malt, toffee hints, some dark fruit undertones. Good.

Tap at the brewery, deep dark brown with a lasting tan head and a chocolate and umami nose, hoppy bite, finish is dry with more cocoa and a fresh hoppiness.. Lovely.

Bottle from Beer Shop: St Albans. Pours black, with a very big tan head. Aroma is liquorice, black pepper toast and blackberries. Carbonation is a bit more rough than I would prefer in a stout, but that only lasts a moment and the flavours cannot be faulted. Big roast malt flavours, with peal, treacle and molasses. Finish is very bitter burnt notes, with some spicy hops and ash.

Transferring some earlier reviews from my blog to RB. Märts 2014, City Beverage, London. Korgil cool pulp-mehe pealuu, suus sigar, peas Indiana Jonesi kaabu, lõual habemetüügas ja silmade asemel humalakäbid. Etiketil (sama?) kolju Johnny Deppiliku kõvakübara, monokli, kitsehabeme ja teravate vuntsidega. Humalakäbid endiselt olemas. Paras Tim Burtoni kujundus. Kurgupärra jääb tilbendama mõnus kuiv humalalaks, mis pole stoutile just omane. Väga fkn hea kraam.

Bottle from Drinkstore. Deep brown, enormous frothy tan head, lasts a ridiculous amount of time. Lovely chocolatey nose, flavour is a beautiful balance of the sweet roasted chocolate and bitter coffee. Medium body, quite forward in carbonation. Finish is indeed luxurious, like what it says on the bottle. Gorgeous. Incredible for a 5% beer.
