COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stouts should be thick and full bodied due to how you brew them, not because you serve them with nitrogen. get away from the metallic notrokegged stouts and have a little bit of decadence in the glass. Multiple grains types and precise brewing leave decadence stout with an opulent mouthfeel and generous head. Rich with chocolate and coffee roast flavours with just a touch of oat creaminess. Treat yourself! Batch 0028

I live in Brentford and so with this brewery being in the neighbourhood of hanwell just down the road I picked up a few of their beers from the Nest bottle shop (Hanwell high st). A nice nose. Coffee from intense roast malt. Some creaminess too. In a DUvel glass this looks slick. Big beige head above black oil beer colour. Drinking this beer : the palate is both roasted dry and rich. Coffee. Dark chocolate some roasted bbitterness. A pretty good stab @ a session stout.

DruncanVeasey (7099) - NUNEATON, Top 13, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 11, 2014
500ml bottle. Glossy pitch with a fat tan head not budging a millimetre. Aroma soft burnt and lactic with suggestions of puffed rice, Everton mint, bitter chocolate, chargrilled bell pepper and chipotle. All that in the mouth too with reinforcing burnt toast bitterness, cold black coffee, rust and discreet bramble undercurrents. Well roasted clinging afters. Body opulent and eponymous. Good stout no doubt.
