3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep dark ruby color, tiny beige head. Ash, caramel, some citrus hops in the nose. Medium-bodied. Flavor is similar to aroma. Some citrus mixed with roastyness and ash. Nothing wrong here but it’s a beer to drink just one pint.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. Full 33cl sample. The aroma has pine, citrus/orange, some roasty malt tones, but hops seem to dominate. Black coloured beer with a nice full, off-white/beige head. The tast is moderate bitter, has roast, pine, citrus , garlic/union mainly and quite some rye. Nice medium-ful body. Carbonation is below average. Really a nice brew, good blend of stout and IPA, but to be a real straight Black IPA, I think the roast is just too much.
