Slight mango, bitter stone fruit with a sweetness on the aroma. Big rich hop aromas but a bit unbalanced towards the hop really

Keg at Craft Covent Garden. Slightly hazy amber with a reluctant white head. I was expecting good things from this beer but frankly found it rather unbalanced with an earthy flavour hindering the impressive hop and malt profile. Not the most intergrated offering I’ve tried from this brewer.

Hazy golden beer with a frothy head. Aroma is citrus but sour whereas the flavour has a distinct sweet tang to temper the sourness. The hops could easily have been overpowering but they’ve been well balanced given this a flavour which is surprisingly rounded after the first sniff. Too strong for a session beer of course which is a shame because I think flavour-wise it’d be perfect for me!

Stern bright golden, slim white head fades quickly. Grassy mango, chewy pine and an odd sweet un-perfume - like baby wipes? Initial taste is a simple straw banded citrus, burgeouning lemon and snipes of resin throughout. Stramash of pine acupunctured underipe orange, Fairly softly spoken carbonation, clean but soft and almost soapy sweetness - not terrible but ends up a bit like licking a hop soap bar on the finish towards the end of the glass. Oddly dry malty rake before a bitter release, lasting and releaving resin. Linger is similarly sweet, grassy, malty and citrussy. Lasting and decent, a flexible enough flagship IPA for me.

330ml bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper with a fairly large and slightly off-white head. Aroma is floral, sweet and earthy. Flavours of tropical fruits, nectarine, mango and so on. Quite a bit of malt comes through too. Some earthy, woody elements and a really strong bitter finish. Medium bodied, very slightly oily, moderate carbonation. Lovely.
