(Keg at Black Door, 20140129) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had citricness, fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine, white bread, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A very nicely done balanced American style IPA,

Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Real Ale Festival 2014)
Super fruity fruit coctail aroma - pineapple mango, lychee, in syrup. Pale, hazy. Drinkability massive, but its palate is so damn keggy, and after the beatifully conditioned real ales, just feels wrong, with its crisp and thinning carbonation. Taste is also packed with tropical fruits. A bit of a one-trick pony, but it does it well. Shame about the fizz.

Bottle from from a random market stall near Kernel. Really sweet stuff and quite viscous mouth feel. Like oil covered oranges. Not that good

Bottle, Ship in a Bottle, West Kirby. Murky amber pour with a a lingering tan head. Aroma was caramel , resinous hop. Slid down nice n’smooth. The sweet malt spine propped up some very decent hoppage quite deftly and a decent balance was struck . Much better than anticipated for some reason and plenty to like about this.
