Peach, rye, toffee, raspberry, bark on the nose, and pours a nice deep amber brown. Scant carbonation, and lightly syrupy. Prominent malt profile, orange pith, pine and lingering bitterness. Quite sweet, and with a fat punch of alcohol. Pretty good, but could be a bit fizzier.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

Bottled MAR 13 - Pours dark reddish orange with a small head. Aroma of sweet caramely malts, resinous hops, berries, grass, citrus and exotic fruits. Taste is sweetish, malty and hoppy with notes of berries, exotic fruits and resin. Finish is malty, dry and juicy fruity with some berries. Quite malt-heavy IPA, but surprisingly well balanced.

Huge pine and orange hop note with spruce and mango. Pours a hazy amber red, gorgeous dry palate, leafy and grassy with a late soft sweet finish and some alcoholic warmth deep down. Truly excellent IPA.

Hazy deep amber beer, big pale cream coloured head. The head has a very unusual strawberries and cream taste! Palate is smooth and slightly soft. Sweet malt, some lactose. Slightly resinous tangerine, sweetish. The strawberries and cream follow from the head - 5256 hop? Smooth finish with strong bitter aniseed aftertaste. Very unusual. Like it!

Bottle at home in London - sourced from the King of York Way. Pours lightly hazed, deep gold with a frothy, creamy off-white head. Aroma holds some orange, bubblegum, some toasty leaves. Medium sweet flavor, some toasty bread, light leaves and earth, more orange, some brown bread, slight minerals. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous finish, some dry pine, faint toasted grass, further brown bread, ripe orange and tangerine, slight earth, further suggestions of bubblegum. In the end it’s a pretty tasty, drinkable IPA.
