3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from cotteridge wines. this has a lovely hop aroma on pouring. Very resinous. Pours a dark amber with small white head. Taste is initially light but with a big hop bitterness coming in right after. Hints of spice then are overtaken by a real grapefruity peachy mouth. I enjoyed this the more i drank it. the taste remained in my mouth for a good while after. reminded me of Arbors Yakima valley from a few years back. pretty good id say.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rich hop nose. Oranges. Pine. Grass. Bright peach colour with good foamy white head. Flavours are a punch on the tounge with sappy hops. Vibes are spicy, sweet and chewy. Some zest and caramel. I would like a more dry finish to cut the relentless rich intense flavour of the hops : the volume turNed upon bitterness and this would be petty good.

Tap at Brewdog Shepherds Bush, hazy light amber, thin white head, pine and tropical fruit nose, pine and grapefruit bitter body, syrupy yet dry and a firm bitter edge. Very nice

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear orange beer with white head. Aroma has sweet tropical fruits, apricot, caramel and pine. Flavor is resinous bitter, berryish, caramelly sweet and fruity. Palate is medium full and oily with medium carbonation and stinging bitterness. Finishes with heavy grapefruity bitterness and honeyish sweetness. Decent IPA.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slight mango, bitter stone fruit with a sweetness on the aroma. Big rich hop aromas but a bit unbalanced towards the hop really

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Craft Covent Garden. Slightly hazy amber with a reluctant white head. I was expecting good things from this beer but frankly found it rather unbalanced with an earthy flavour hindering the impressive hop and malt profile. Not the most intergrated offering I’ve tried from this brewer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Hazy golden beer with a frothy head. Aroma is citrus but sour whereas the flavour has a distinct sweet tang to temper the sourness. The hops could easily have been overpowering but they’ve been well balanced given this a flavour which is surprisingly rounded after the first sniff. Too strong for a session beer of course which is a shame because I think flavour-wise it’d be perfect for me!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Stern bright golden, slim white head fades quickly. Grassy mango, chewy pine and an odd sweet un-perfume - like baby wipes? Initial taste is a simple straw banded citrus, burgeouning lemon and snipes of resin throughout. Stramash of pine acupunctured underipe orange, Fairly softly spoken carbonation, clean but soft and almost soapy sweetness - not terrible but ends up a bit like licking a hop soap bar on the finish towards the end of the glass. Oddly dry malty rake before a bitter release, lasting and releaving resin. Linger is similarly sweet, grassy, malty and citrussy. Lasting and decent, a flexible enough flagship IPA for me.
