3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from cotteridge wines. this has a lovely hop aroma on pouring. Very resinous. Pours a dark amber with small white head. Taste is initially light but with a big hop bitterness coming in right after. Hints of spice then are overtaken by a real grapefruity peachy mouth. I enjoyed this the more i drank it. the taste remained in my mouth for a good while after. reminded me of Arbors Yakima valley from a few years back. pretty good id say.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Keg pint. I would wax lyrical about this one, but at the end of the day it’s your textbook UK brewed American IPA. Looks the way you want it to, tastes the way you want it to, finishes the same. Proper citrus hit, nice dank note, light but with a decent backbone, potent but balanced. Not a life changer, but a tasty, well put together example of the style.

Not to keen on the smell, is it the yeast or the malt I don’t know but it smells like it hasn’t had a good time. Taste is nice though, wouldn’t say it was fruity though

Pours clear golden amber with decent off white head. Aroma of slight citrus hops but a lot yeast and touch of malt. Taste is of mild American hops with dry, bitter finish. A little bit thin. I am to remember this being better. Maybe a bad batch? Batch 299 from March 2016

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Served in a tulip from a 330ml bottle. Pours hazy light copper colour with medium slowly diminishing off-white head leaving nice lacing behind. Aroma is citrus hops, floral, caramel malts and mango with slight pine resin notes. Taste is medium sweet orange peel and caramel malts to start with, then moderate resin bitterness kicks in and stays with a long pleasant aftertaste. Medium body with soft carbonation. Nicely balanced and enjoyable beer without being too overwhelming on the bitter side.
