Bottle shared by Fonefan. Thanks! [Not sure about the batch, presumably this one though] Hazy orange color, small off-white head. Smell and taste lightly malty, quite bitter, a hint of liquor, hops, lightly pine, lightly grapefruit. Medium body and carbonation. Nice!

Bottle from Deliciouslydifferent. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Aroma of caramel, citrus, honey, vanilla and hops. Very hoppy finish in great mix with the subtle bourbon notes. Special beer, very good.

Bottle at Euston tap. Pours cloudy marmalade orange with wispy white head. Tropical fruit, wood, orange rind. Big toffee malt, orange lasting flavour. Slight bitterness finish. Mild carbonation gives a peachy aftertaste. Very nice.

Garrold (1332) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 6, 2014
Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Cloudy, reddy, amber. Film of white, sticky head. Woody. Greasy. Thick, fusty fruit. Oily herb. Taste is thick sweet. Woody bitter. Woody dry. Palate is chewy sweet. Greasy. Oily. Finish is all of that, with a boozy warmth that lingers. Tasty beer. A bit big and daft. Very nice.

Bottle at home, in between hedge killing, take away from Mother Kelly’s 06/07/14. Hazed marmalade orange/dark amber with a well appointed light beige covering that stays for a while then dissipates to a swirl and thin edgeing. Nose is bitter grapefruit, caramel, orange pith, mineral notes, earthy hop, light booze, subtle bourbon wooded backnotes. Taste comprises orange pith, bourbon evident, light coconut ring, jammy tropicana, light booze, sticky mango, hint of spice. Medium + body, fine carbonation, subtle bourbon, boozey tinges and tropicana in the close. Solid BA DIPA, all pretty subtle on the bourbon front but you know it’s there, the alcohol is well integrated and it still retains the charectar of a DIPA. This one grew on me rising from 3.5 on first sip to 3.8 at the close, not often a beer shifts by more than 0.2 for me after the first rating.

RichTheVillan (2911) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2014
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy copper pour with a thin creamy white head, aroma has spirit but a hint of citrus, taste has bourbon but the DIPA character is still there, some fruit, light pine, citrus, dangerously easy to drink for it’s ABV, I’m enjoyable this BA pale.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2014 Bottle at home alone feeling lonely and envy as Glasto was on the telly, but hey ho this beer cheered me up. "Hopper than heaven and bitter as hell" oh and its recommended to drink with smelly cheese. Superbly strong :)
