yngwie (12674) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 18, 2014
Bottle. A lightly clear golden beer topped by small, dense off-white head. Some micro-floaties. The aroma is mostly on the peachy side, with some pale malts and resins. Quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Peaches, pine cones and citrus peel in the flavor. Medium body. Orange marmalade and lemon zest in the finish. Especially considering the ABV it’s a nice one. 140418

   AROMA 8/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 15/20
Idiosynkrasie (3238) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 2, 2014
500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Now, that is hoppy aroma: piney, coniferous in general, citrusy, some grapefruit etc. Taste is bitter hoppy, some pine, some "green" and earthy notes of grass, straw and moss. Obviously no support by a robust malty backbone and therefore some of the hop hits blankness.

Scopey (5520) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2014
Keg at BD Camden. It pours cloudy gold with a thick white head. The nose is fresh, doughy, pear, white grape and melon. The taste is crisp, piney, freshly cut grass, nice bitterness, grapefruit rind and white grape skin with a dry, bitter finish. Light-medium body, fine carbonation and soft mouth-feel. Nice sessionable number.

andrew_drinks (33) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2014
Tap at Drafthouse CS, 10 Dec 13. Paler than expected, straw with half an inch of white head. Big Nelson aroma, grapes and lemon rind. Lychees, peaches, white grape, lemon, very refreshing. Body spot-on - big oily mouthfeel with medium carb. Finish is long citrus without becoming over-bitter or astringent.
