Pacific Northwest meets Pacific Southeast as the best of American and New Zealand hops meld together with just enough malt backbone to allow them to sing. A riot of mango and passion-fruit on the nose but balanced enough to drink by the bucketful. Dive in and grab another bottle but don’t get the bends.

Grains: Pale, Vienna, Munich, Cara-Pils
Hops: Citra, Pacific Gem

Bottle. Light gold with a thick white head. Nose is mango, peach and a slight toffee. Warm, bubble-free and surprising in the mouth. A really pleasant warm mango/peach cocktail - give it a wiggle and you can get some lemon and pineapple. Nicely malty. Absolutely fabulous!

On tap at Duke’s. Really great fruity nose, strong malt backbone and decent amount of bitterness for an APA. More flavour than most of the London ’IPAs’ getting around. Best pale I’ve had in a while.

Bottle at The Antelope in Surbiton. Lots of what I thought was orange, but is presumably from reading the deScription mango. Well-hopped and pleasantly dry. Nice beer.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy layer. Almost juicy fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit and tangerine, backed by mildly bready malt and a tinge of yeasty spice. Moderately bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly bready malt character with a touch of caramel and a good dash of mainly fruity and slightly spicy hops, lingering into the moderately bitter and delicately sweet finish. Good one. 07.IV.15

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head that lasts throughout. Aromas of lemon, mango, passion fruit with some weed as well. Taste is more of the same, but a nice balance of caramel malt that goes well with the dankiness. Fruit comes back out on the finish. Nice bitterness. Really nice!
