Pacific Northwest meets Pacific Southeast as the best of American and New Zealand hops meld together with just enough malt backbone to allow them to sing. A riot of mango and passion-fruit on the nose but balanced enough to drink by the bucketful. Dive in and grab another bottle but don’t get the bends.

Ingredients:
Grains: Pale, Vienna, Munich, Cara-Pils
Hops: Citra, Pacific Gem

On tap at Duke’s. Really great fruity nose, strong malt backbone and decent amount of bitterness for an APA. More flavour than most of the London ’IPAs’ getting around. Best pale I’ve had in a while.

Bottle at The Antelope in Surbiton. Lots of what I thought was orange, but is presumably from reading the description mango. Well-hopped and pleasantly dry. Nice beer.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy layer. Almost juicy fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit and tangerine, backed by mildly bready malt and a tinge of yeasty spice. Moderately bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly bready malt character with a touch of caramel and a good dash of mainly fruity and slightly spicy hops, lingering into the moderately bitter and delicately sweet finish. Good one. 07.IV.15

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head that lasts throughout. Aromas of lemon, mango, passion fruit with some weed as well. Taste is more of the same, but a nice balance of caramel malt that goes well with the dankiness. Fruit comes back out on the finish. Nice bitterness. Really nice!

Bottle at home. Cloudy, murky golden colour, white foamy head that keeps lacing the ale. Tropical fruity nose, taste is a bit watery, lightly malted but has a good bitterness. Medium carbonation.

Turboninja (476) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 15, 2015
Bottle@Maja/Talo, Tampere, Finland. Medium, freshly sweet aroma of mango and caramel. Yellow-orange color with small natural white head and hazy liquid. Medium taste with slightly hopped mango. Somewhat artificial. Medium taste spectrum and medium, hoppy aftertaste with fruits. Medium/light body with medium/high carbonation. Overall refreshing dry and with high carbonation which also dampen the taste.
