Pacific Northwest meets Pacific Southeast as the best of American and New Zealand hops meld together with just enough malt backbone to allow them to sing. A riot of mango and passion-fruit on the nose but balanced enough to drink by the bucketful. Dive in and grab another bottle but don’t get the bends.

Grains: Pale, Vienna, Munich, Cara-Pils
Hops: Citra, Pacific Gem

3 month old bottle at home- 8 Nov 2013. Hazy golden with a decent amount of head fluff. Nose is grassy with a bit of muted pineapple. Flavour is nicely balanced between bitter/sweet and tropical fruit. Medium body and carbo. Have had this on cask previously (unrated) but this version seems more enjoyable. Lovely refreshing beer and worth checking out.

A little less volume all round than I was expecting, but still a great beer. Pours a fairly light gold with thin white head and medium carbonation. Aroma of melon, lime, lemon and some malt. Light malt character to taste, followed by very clean, if a little muted citrus notes, all very refreshing. Slight herbal character leads to a medium earthy bitterness and semi dry finish

On tap at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours mostly clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Some citrus hops on the nose with a bit of orange and tangerine in particular. Light to medium sweet with basic pale malt sugars, further citrusy hops, light lemon. Light to medium bodied with fine, good carbonation. Mostly clean to finish with slight resiny hops, ripe orange and tangerine. Awesome stuff. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Chesham Brewery Shop. Poured a light amber with a thin consistent white head. Fruity aroma of melon, peach and light vanilla. Initial flavours of citrus, grass and passion fruit. Palate of gooseberry, grain and satsuma. Great fruity beer, without the actual fruit.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 25/09/13. Very lightly hazed golden with a thin off white head. Nose is earthy hops, light tropical fruits, figgy jam, orange. Taste comprises orange pith, yeast notes, earthy hop presence, light tropicals. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry and some bitter notes in the finale. Ok APA, not quite sweet or hoppy enough for my liking.

Bottle @ Dean’s Birthday tasting, courtesy of jmgreenuk. Pours a hazy golden beer with a thin white head on top. Aroma is hoppy, citrussy, pine needles and grapefruits. Flavor is a bit soft, citrussy and bitter. This beer has a long, bitter finish which adds extra points to the total. Very decent brew.
