Sep 1, 2008 (bottle) clear red colour, frothy off-white head. smells of caramel, sweet malts, bread, a hint of raisins. flavour is caramel, cookie dough, flowery hops, light roastes notes. light bitter finish, medium carbonation, light to medium body. nice enough.

Aug 28, 2008 On tap at Berliner Bierfestival. As Weismainer Dunkel. A deep golden to copper beer, clear, with a small beige head. Caramel and bread in the aroma, followed by some fruit. The flavor is much the same, caramel, bread, a little roasted malt and a little fruityness. Medium body, a bit too carbonated. Quite nice and drinkable, but nothing special at all. (070804)

Feb 22, 2008 Draught at Berliner Bierfestival 07 as Weismainer Dunkel. Clear brown colour. Small light brown head. Full-flavoured, quite roasted flavour. Very nice.

Oct 26, 2007 Dark amber colored, slightly hazy appearance. Little yellow head. Rich toffee and sweet-caramelly-chocolaty aroma, maybe even too sweet. Thin to medium bodied. Surprisingly watery bodied. Flavor is also nice with this toffee and sweet caramel, some bitter hops in aftertaste. Also some lemon lasts.
