2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle 33cl. Murky ambar beer with a durable off white head. Smells to malt, wheat and citrus The taste is yeasty and malty, very light to consider it a wheat beer. Soft body and soft carbonation. Final a little bit watery.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Cloudy dark yellow, small head. Moderate fruity and yeasty aroma. Tastes like an average hefeweizen - yeasty aroma with banana, wheaty taste with some bubblegum and then more bananas. A bit watery palate. Not as special as its classy bottle looks.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330 ml bottle. Hazy, pale yellow/golden body with a white head. Quite mild but refreshing fruity wheat aroma with yeast. Flavor is light and fresh wheat, banana, yeast and light spicy. Typical to style, but a bit to weak and not particular exiting. Medium body and decent quaffable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from El Corte Ingles, Bilbao. Had this at Mundaka campsite, Basque Country, Northern Spain sat outside Frank (camper) 08.07.11 Pours hazy orange amber with white head, this certainly looks the part. Wheaty on the nose and then I get rather peculiarly a whiff of Heinz Cream of Tomato soup, this isn’t a bad smell in my mind as I rather like that aroma but it is there and even when Loz smells it she notices this to. Taste is fine, actually it is quite decent, soft at first with a wheatiness coming through, touch watery at times, some citrus, I like this beer one of my favourites thus far on holiday. 2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of wheat, malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and lemon, leading to a very dry wheaty finish.

At first a rather nice weissbier, but when the 33 cl bottle was finished I realized this was one of the worse weissbiers I had.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle from a local supermarket. It pours a hazy golden-amber liquid with a medium-high white foam that lasts throughout the beer and leaves a little lacing. The aroma has floral hops, wheat, hints of citron and green bananas. It tastes likewise, not very sweet, sour. It is averagedly carbonated, with small-medium body and a little watery feel. It ends semi-dry, with floral hops giving a soft and pleasant bitterness in a light aftertaste. A refreshing brew with a nice presentation (bottle and crown cap) that makes it clear that you’re having a hefeweizen. A little more sweetness would improve the flavour. One of the best brews by Damm, but no match for classic german white beers.
