Ohrainen tuoksu,. Maussa runsaasti ohraa, melko ohut runko, jälkimaussa "humalan puraisu".

50cl bottle, Sagasser. Dry and roasty Märzen with an almost ale-like quality, only lighter bodied. Aromas of roast nuts and caramel blend in very well with the dry aromatic, near-fruity bread crust & biscuit malts and earthy, spicy hops. Good stuff from a benchmark traditional Franconian brewery that is well aware of new trends.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. A golden beer with malty and grassy flavours, earthy notes and a slight floral fruity finish.

Pours out in a light cloudy golden-amber colour with steady head and medium body. Nose of hops and nuts.Taste of mild, ripe hops, oranges, straw, nuts and caramel. Light sweet and herbal finish. Another beer of this brewery I highly enjoyed due to its high quaffableness. Easy and nice to drink, great one.

Welch wundervolle, leicht malzige Abwechslung.

Wooden barrel at redhot, Munich. Hazy red. Malt, dry woody mouth feel, a hint of yeast. Lovely beer.

Keg at LMG, Dublin. Dark golden pour with thin white head and decent lacing. Aroma is muted: caramel, grains, light herbs, vegetal notes. Taste gives plenty of caramel, cereal, light nuttiness, light herb, and an earthy hop bitterness. Semi-sweet finish. Lingering woody herbaceousness in the aftertaste. Tasty light maerzen.

0.5l bottle. Amber body, light beige head. Aroma of bread, grains, butter and floral hops. Taste of bread, grains, metal and some grassy hoppyness. The finish is a bit bitter. Not bad, but nothing special.
