Orange copper, white head. Very malty nose with caramel notes. Taste is, again, malty with fruity hints, some sweetness and hops in the finish. Medium bodied. Good stuff.

(gravity cask at iTap Soulard) Hazy light copper, generous white head with nice lace. Aroma of sweetish malt. Flavor was caramel malt; full body, fairly sweet.

Sörspecialista, Budapest. Áttetsző, borostyán szín, tetején közepes méretű, laza piszkosfehér hab, amely egy vékony fátyol erejééig végig kitart. Illata malátás, almásan savanykás, valamint karamellás. Ízében a maláta és a kenyér mellett pörkölt magvas, kissé pikáns íz érződik, melyekre finom érkezik egy jó adag füves komló. Utóíze száraz és malátás és gyümölcsös, de kissé talán karcos. Közepesen testes, a kelleténél kissé szénsavasabb, száraz és keserű német apátsági sör. Fokozottan ajánlott.

Clear amber colour with a fine pored, medium sized off-white head, which laces.
Sweet-sourish nose.
Tasteing begins with a slick mouthfeel escorted by a fruity aroma of caramel, bread(crust) and some grassy hops.
The medium to long, sweet-bitter finish brings toast, nuts and spices along.
Easy drinkable, enjoyable brew overall.

Getreidiger, jedoch eindeutig ins Malzige tendierender Geruch.
Malziger Oberton, welcher im weiteren Verlauf etwas ins Brotige umschlägt. Dieser Tendenz wird aber durch würzige Aromen entgegengewirkt. Der Abgang kann Hopfenakkzente setzen.

(bottle) pours a dark golden to amber colour, head dissipating quickly. Aroma is mainly malty at first, followed by some grassy hops, but also a strong mineral/metallic component which I don’t care for. Some leathery, slightly woody notes as well. Medium bitter taste, medium-bodied. Solid, but not my cup of tea.

The bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty-spicy, modest dry. Also some lemon notes in the background. Well balanced finish, but could be a bit more intense. Okay.

On draft. Very slightly unfiltered beer. Fresh brown sugar and woody accents, with some pepper and herbs (parsley, fresh stuff, flowers). Flavor is surprisingly bitter at the warm end of the beer; this is so great, as even a low alch. beer like this can get sticky and too sweet. Even a slightly drying finish. Light-to-moderate sweetness and moderate bitterness. Light-bodied and easy to drink.
