Ein vollmundiges, klassisch fränkisches Bier, das durch seine Bernsteinfarbe und dem Stammwürzegehalt von 12,3 % die klösterliche Brautradition unseres ehemaligen Benediktinerklosters bis in die heutige Zeit fortsetzt. Ein vollmundiges Bier mit angenehmer Rezens. Unser Altfränkisch macht aus dem „Hellen“ das Besondere.

Bottle. Golden clear golden colour with a little white head. Aroma of grain and grass-like. Flavour of malt and hops. Very clean and a nice aftertaste.

Bottle. [Great two day tasting session @ Papsoe] Average fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished. Light cloudy golden color. Spare lacework. Aroma of dusty grain, caramel, straw, bread. Over the palate grass, floral and roasted malt. Almost chocolate like. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light to moderated sweet flavor. Light dry and bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a fully diminished white head. Mild malty, slight spiced aroma. Flavour is mild spiced and malty, solid bitterness. Holds a decent bitterness into the finish.
