Élénk a sör és vékonyka testű sok banános utóízzel. Mint ahogyan illatában ízében is a száraz komlósság dominál. Végén enyhén savanykás és tompa a befejezése.

In bottle at Ventoux. Pours a dark golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of grassy hops, caramel and biscuity malt. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Nicely bitter and very drinkable.

Copper colour, clear, large thick tanned head. At first it had a nice grassy malty aroma but this faded quickly. The first mouthfull was decent and tasted malty and grassy but it quickly lost it’s taste and by the end was close to being undrinkable. Only thing decent about this beer was the mouthfull which wasn’t too bad but other than that it was very poor. I’d say its more Dunkel than Maerzen.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2013 Short beige head. Golden amber color. The aroma is really not good with earth and rotting potatoes and tired piny hopes. Sweet caramell taste with small bitterness. (1,2,3,3,6) New sampling at Thomas W, with a fresh bottle 130515. Fluffy beige head. Pale amber color. Some munich maltiness with an English hop taste and a piny hoppiness and some sweetness.

draft at Blue Monk, Buffalo. Caramel colored pour, bready sweet malts aroma. Flavor follows up aroma as expected with a slight twanginess to it. Some sort of cooked vegetable thing going on. Decent marzen

500 ml bottle picked up at Maruhn in Darmstadt, Germany. Pours a fine dark amber color with a long lasting beige head. Aroma is caramel, oak wood, and sweetness. Taste is more wood, caramel and burnt malt. Palate is slightly rough, A good and different beer.
