0,5 l bottle, bought at Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest.
Poured deep golden with a nice foamy lacing off white head. Bready malt with some caramel, a bit of straw and grassy hop. Malt based flavor with bready character and a strong bit of flowery-grassy hop. A littlebit unbalanced one.

It’s slightly hazy, orange-golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma is quite full and malty with notes of grain, malt, caramel and light fruit. The flavor has a light, soft sweetness and notes of newly harvested grain, malt, caramel and mellow fruit and the finish is slightly dry and citrussy. It’s incredibly soft, almost wheat like, very delicious.

50cl bottle, label as pictured. Pours a deep, clear orange golden with a small, light beige head. Minimal retention, very little lacing. Aroma is malty, with a slight floral note of hops. Wee hint of citrus. Medium-bodied märzen with moderate carbonation; ok, thicker-than-usual mouth feel. Taste, again, is dominated by slightly sweet malt. Ample bitterness in the middle and finish, with dry, hoppy after taste. Wee heavy stuff for a beer with just 5.1 % abv. Still, rather refreshing, characterful (though not fruity) and sessionable. A good "kellerbier".

Bottled from a Nuernberg gas station. Dark amber color, white head. Malty aroma, sweet sour flavour with caramel. With some more body it would be perfect.

Pours deep mahogany into a stein. Off-white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Stale malt aromas. Flat and malty.

500ml Bottle (Õllesummer 2009, Tallinn) - Amber with a small white head. Malty aroma with hints of fruit. Fruity, hoppy and malty taste with some hints of tea. Very refreshing and easy to drink.

pine tar pitch cask at spuyten. Pours a hazy deep woody amber with no head. Aroma is almost entirely diacetyl- butter with a sour funk and slight copper metallic going on. Slick diacetyl flavor, oily buttered popcorn, tart cherry pit astringency and more metallic in the end. Way off.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2011 Bottle. Light grassy hop nose, earthy yeast. Hazy amber, low head. Full on fruity malt body, nuts, bread, light clay, quite a good portion of grassy hops, aromatic honey retronasal l. chewy mouthfeel. I just love fat fruity Marzen.
