from bottle. pours a clear golden colour and a surprisingly frothy head for a pils. decent aroma of floral hops, fresh gras and melon. fantastic for a pils! medium body and average carbonation. clean and crisp taste, slight bitterness and a good balance of hops and malts. great pils that is surprisingly complex and rich!

Bottle. Golden, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, light herbal - grassy hoppyness. Medium, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, light grassy hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - grainy and dryish, light sharp metal some grassy - herbal hoppyness. OK bitterness for German pils - bit too much metal in the finish.

Pours pale yellow clear body with white tight head. Aromas include hops, malts, grains. Palate is thin and crisp, with medium lively carbonation and mouthfeel. Aftertaste sweet malts with floral medium hoppy finish. Very nice beer, mix of Bavarian sweet malty beer with crisp North German Pilsener taste. Only difference the hops are quite floral. Very nice.

Bottle by 29.11.12. Very sweet malty nose. Clear golden with a soapy bright white head. Bitter with light breadiness and a thin, lightly metallic malt. Medium body closer to the light side, a mix of Northern "hard" bitter Pilsners with the more Hell-like Southern variants, minus the floral hoppy tones.

Low carbonation with a flat broad taste. Little head and not much happening. Maybe even a little insepid.

Bottled (500ml). Clear golden pour with a decent white head providing a good lace. Honey golden malts on the nose with grass and hay. Nicely balanced pilsner taste with a decent dry bitter hop bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. An enjoyable refreshing pilsner.

Bottle. Gold with a fluffy white head that lasts well. Aroma of hay, herbs, a little wood. Quite low carbonation. Quite low carbonation. Taste has light bread, slight honey, herbs, flowers, a little lemon. Pretty austere for a Bavarian Pils. Bitter finish with lingering herbs. Quite engaging for a German pilsener.

Pale colour, clear with a small head. Smelled noble hops, aroma seemed more like a north german Pils than franconian. The first mouthfulls were promising, had a nice balanced hoppy bitterness and notes of pine but the taste changed and it got harder and harder to finish. Fairly smooth, nice mouthfull for a Pils. Promised much but didn’t deliver.
