Wir haben für Sie, in dieser Tradition, unseren kräftigen Bonator als dunklen Doppelbock eingebraut, zur körperlichen und geistigen Stärkung in der „staaden“ Zeit. Ein dunkler Doppelbock, würzig und kräftig wie es die Tradition verlangt. Passend zu : Gulasch, Schäuferle, Krustenbraten, deftigen Brotzeiten und kräftigen Wildgerichten

[Bottle] Darker reddish/orange pour with a thin amount of foam on top. Sweet toffee and fruitcake apparent in the nose. Caramel, toffee, light fruits, raisin and bready notes in the flavor. Sticky palate. Mild warmth from the alcohol comes out as the beer warms. Tasting notes from 2/2012.

Clear red brown beer, creamy light beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty sweet, grains, malty, some more grains, bit of caramel maybe. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, little sourish, grains, some milk chocolate, caramel, bit sugary, hoppy touch. Aftertaste: bit sweet, some banana, bit of caramel, little mocha, bitter, banana peel.

Aroma deep roasty malts. Some rich caramel and fig here. Taste is rich malts that are very sweet with dunkel characteristics. No real hop presence. Appearance is a clear dark brown with a thin lace head that retains poorly.

Draft at the Syb Pig in Boca Raton, FL. Snifter pour. Dark brown with beige head that lasted. Good lacing. Aroma of bread, dough, cereal, honey, dark fruits, and malts. Taste was heavy malts, caramel, honey, sugars, bread and dough, leather, earth. Medium body and finish was dough and dark fruits with caramel. Solid beer.

translucent dark mahogany with a creamy beige head. medium-full body with medium-high carbonation.

aroma: rich and bready, lots of kilned malt, herbal hops, fruity alcohol. caramel and butterscotch as it warms.

taste: dark bread crust, stoney minerality, melanoidin reaction compounds, grassy hop bitterness, tannins, faint caramel and dark fruit.

@ Sergio’s / Louisville KY --- Hazy ruby mahogany with a 2" head that lasts until midway through the glass, thin streaks of lace. Taste is dark roasted malt with light spices in the palate, moving on to very light bittering in the finish. A fairly straightforward brew, but pleasant to drink.

Pours a clear mahogany color with a thick tan head. The smell is caramel malt, rich fruit, bready. The taste is bready, fruity, caramel, grass enfin with a bit off dryness. The body is light/medium with fine carbonation structure....quite silky.
