Pours a brown/amber in color with a light brown head. Malty aroma with a hint of toffee and some slightly roasted nut notes. Moderately sweet taste with malt , caramel, toffee and nuts followed by a sweet, malty, roasted finish. This one was quite enjoyable.

Draft from Waterfront-Manhattan. Poured dark but was pretty thin and watery, some caramel and malts, not as fruity or flavorful as I had thought it would be.

Pour was brown in color with an ok initial head, medicore quality lacing. The aroma was cocoa, roast, dark fruits, earth, grass. The flavor followed the aroma, but this thing was pretty darned dry. Mouthfeel was a medium body and again, pretty dry finish, lingering notes of grassy type hops. Maybe I would have liked this more in the early Fall or Spring, but I was wanting a bit bigger for a holiday brew.

On tap gravity keg from the Huber Haus. Chestnut color. Medium thick ecru colored head and low carbonation. Roasted flavor up front with very little malt sweetness. Strong finishing tartness. Leaves much to be desired.

Chocolatey nose with a hint of orange. Color of dietrite cola with a nice off-white head. Tastes sweet and bubbly. There are hops here, but not what I expected from the nose - flavor is more hay-like.
