3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle as Monk’s Christmas from the Arden BevMo in Sacramento, CA. Pours ruddy dark brown with a fine off-white head. Smells rather sweet and roasty. Med body. Flavor is rather light, and not that sweet. The deScription says Landbier, and I think that’s suggestive. There’s something herby holding back the sweet. Drinks very pleasantly.
