Disclaimer: I bought this beer at a street festival and was not 100% sure which beer it was. This is my best guess. Also, I was seven miles into an eight mile run, so this was way more refreshing than it otherwise could ever be.12 oz chilled pour from keg into a plastic cup at vegan street festival in Vienna. Clear, yellow, perfect fluffy white head. Nose is a little sweet malts. Medium body, both creamy and crisp. Taste is straightforward, clean, and pleasant. Light biscuit and with a little earthiness and a great slight lasting bitterness.

Werckmeister (812) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - APR 1, 2015
bottle at home bought at the Merkur next to my place. orange, clear color, small white head. smells flowery, honey, grains, light caramel. medium body, slick mouthfeel, light carbonation, tastes rather sweet, honeyish, overall grainy taste, bread. light flowery bitter / grainy finish. ok, liked the smell a bit better than the taste.

Bottle. Amber, clear, thin head. Grainy bready malt character, spicy hops to the fore in the finish, slightly metallic aftertaste.

McTapps (5553) - Ruhrcity, GERMANY - OCT 9, 2014
Bottle from Interspar in Kufstein. The beer pours out in a deep golden colour with steady head and medium to crisp body. High carbonation. Aroma of hops and malt, followed by a taste of hops, wheat, barley, malt and bread. Light acid finish. Refreshing.

Auf der einen Seite recht getreidig mit einem sueffigen Unterton, andererseits sehr muffig und derb im Abschluss mit leichten Bock-Anklaengen. Sehr unausgewogen, wobei das Derbe zum Schluss hin ueberwiegt.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2015 0,5l bottle. This beer looks better as it tastes. The golden color is an eye-catcher. But the taste is quite average, nothing special. Edit: Draught Hadmar (Leopold, Wien2) is much better, deserves a 4

500 ml bottle. BB 23/08/14. (Merkur) Seiersberg, Austria.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Grainy malt, mild bitterness and mild metallic notes in the aroma. The flavour is grassy bitterness, strong grainy maltiness and mild metal. Very grainy lager. A bit thin.

Bottle, pours gold with a white head, sweet malty aroma, light sweet malt taste with a hint of caramel and light fruit. some hoppy bitterness to finish, not bad, probably the highest pale lager I have rated

worldbeertaste (1735) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2014
Gold with a frothy, tan, lasting lacy, head. Smells of biscuit, caramel, vanilla, grain, and herbal hops. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Tastes of sweet malt, fruit, lots of grain, and a bitter finish. Ok to drink, don’t go out of your way.
