KyotoLefty (6450) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 2, 2008
Bottle in Vienna, 2006. An amber lager with a thick, slightly darkened head. Fairly strong malty aroma, with toffee. Slightly sweet and cookieish. Medium to heavy body. Hints of caramel and cookies. Sweetish finish, but decent hops as well. Lingering bitterness. Pretty good balance from the start. A very nice, richer than most lager.

EithCubes (4895) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 21, 2011
Bottle. Sunshiny malt nose with a little grain, hazy, chunky golden pour with a soapy off-white head. Mouth is scratchy, grainy and particulate-worn, has a dirty and metallic taste under the grain. Very light hoppy bitterness but a concomitant amount of astringency. Dry, but where did the citric sun go? From the backlog, drunk in mid-May 2011.
