Bottle 50cl.
Unclear medium to dark brown amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, bread, hay, light roasted, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090625]

Bottled. A hazy nut-brown beer with a fluffy orange head. The aroma has notes of caramel, wheat, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and a lesser note of wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish. I’d like more character.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, orangey brown with a nice, dense, off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma. Medium body with very sweet notes of burned caramel. Delicate. 131106

Bottled (from mein-biershop.de). Hazy deep ambery brown colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is mild toasted caramel malts, some slight ashyness as well as some wooden notes. Flavour is wood, some mild non-sweet syrupy notes as well as caamel and some slight toasted notes.

MiP (12483) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 10, 2009
Bottle, 5.3%. Quite roasted aroma. Almost clear dark brown colour. Big stable rocky tan head. The flavour is also roasted, a little bitter, but also creamy. OK balanced. Slightly sweet, but might have been sweeter. Hint of barnyard.

Chestnut colour and hazy. Thick and slightly pock-marked head. The aroma is appley and wheaty with a hint of cocoa. Fizzy, with a hint of cocoa on the palate. Quite wheaty in the finish. Rather straightforward example.

Bottle. Dark copper, clear body, with a beige head. Ripe plums, a little roasted malt and fruity, as well as caramel on the nose. Quite lovely. Roast, dried and fresh fruits, some sweetness and a little sour touch in the flavor. A bit dusty, medium body, and a quite sweet finish. Not the regular dunkel-weissen, but a nice one.

Bottled 500ml (Tuulensuu, BB 02/2012)
Dark ruby, small brownish head. Aroma of tobacco and old booze, not very pleasant. Light to medium bodied. Flavor is similar to aroma: ashy, lots of tobacco, a bit acidic. Some caramel too. At least personal, not just very pleasant.

It’s unclear, dark brown with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of yeast, caramel, burnt sugar fruit and a touch of licorice. The sweet flavor has the same notes with a slight sourness in the finish, but in a nice way. Interesting indeed.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramelly aroma with even a hint of roast. Banana, yeast, caramel and roast in the flavor. Ashy milky aftertaste. Drinkable.
