Chestnut colour and hazy. Thick and slightly pock-marked head. The aroma is appley and wheaty with a hint of cocoa. Fizzy, with a hint of cocoa on the palate. Quite wheaty in the finish. Rather straightforward example.

(bottle) Cloudy, ruby brown colour with a beige and tall foamy head, leaving a lot of lace work. Yeasty and slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, chocolate and shy herbal hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Toasty malt-character with distinctive notes of chocolate, a tinge of caramel, bread crusts and herbal accents; quite dry, roasty and slightly hop bitter finish with notes of caramel and chocolate in the aftertaste. Despite the name it is not a Dunkelweizen but a Dunkel. 05.IV.11

Bottle: Hazy, deep amber coloured, mid-sized fluffy head, mild, but distinctive nutty-malty nose with a light fruity (no infection!) touch; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, very soft; moderate drier nutty-dark-malty finish. A very nice one.....

It’s unclear, dark brown with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of yeast, caramel, burnt sugar fruit and a touch of licorice. The sweet flavor has the same notes with a slight sourness in the finish, but in a nice way. Interesting indeed.

Bottle. Cloudy red, a few floating yeast flocks, big lacing tanned head. Bready, citric and berrylike aroma. Roast, dark bread, medium to light body, fruits and spices in the finish. Sparkly body, dry and fresh.

Bottle, 5.3%. Quite roasted aroma. Almost clear dark brown colour. Big stable rocky tan head. The flavour is also roasted, a little bitter, but also creamy. OK balanced. Slightly sweet, but might have been sweeter. Hint of barnyard.
