1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
One of the poorest German weizens I’ve had. Aweful vegetable nose. Near opaque orange - like orange juice without the pulp. Low frothy head. Thin and watery without much taste. Un-weizenlike in many respects.

Looks the part - cloudy gold with a good white head. Shame it exploded on opening. The aroma is light banana and yeast. Flavours are sweet, sugary malts with banana and cloves. Too sweet without being malty. Average.

[50cl can] Cloudy, deep golden body. Rocky, smooth white head, shortly lasting.
Strong banana in the aroma together with yeast and a bizarre skunky/medicine note. Clean, dry, with a slightly bitter finish.
Light to medium body. An average weizen, at best, but if you like this kind of beers, as I do, you aren't going to be be too disappointed by this one.

Nice fruity -bannana aroma , slightly sour . Very gentle but a bit light on flavour , very drinkable . Still missing something.

The best Wheat in Bamberg. Not as yeasty and saur as most other wheats. I had it on a cafe on the old bridge at "Das alte Rathaus" in Bamberg Centre. I think the extremely beautiful surroundings around me could have influenced on my perception on this beer.

Very pale in colour, but otherwise a typical example of the style - fruity, lightly yeasty, lots of banana.
