Wel Scotch is made with peat-smoked whisky malt from the Scottish Highlands. A coppery amber-coloured beer, Wel Scotch is best drunk slightly chilled to appreciate the subtle smoky hints of whisky.

Bottle at home. Clear deep amber pour, thin white head. Aroma of artificial whiskey aroma, with some peat. Flavor is sweet sugary malts with more artificial whiskey. Cheap, but not undrinkable.

Light copper body, small head. Rough malts, cheap supermarket toffee biscuits and sticky. Sweet base, white sugar and simple malts. Bit of alcohol quality without the warming sensation. Clean. Not very tasty, no thanks. (Bottle from Borresteijn, thanks!)

Slight head over clear body. Faint aroma of whisky and a nice round flavor with hints of scotch and a bit warning palate.

Bottle. Carmelly aroma. Caramally sweet flvor with plums and butter. Made with peated malt? I can hardly taste any peat, so the percentage of peted malt must be in the single digits. Sticky mouthfeel. Grainy. Alcoholic somehow.
