Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, pale malt, toasted, vegetables, cardboard. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121006]

50cl bottle [from trade with Koelschtrinker] @ ZZT V. Clear pale yellow color, small white head. Smell hops, malts and grainy. Taste malts, grains, slight hint of sour, buttery, lightly bitter. Not bad, nothing special either. Medium carbo, low to medium body.

@ZZT V. Pale yellow colour with a medium white head. Smells slightly sharp, herbs and spices, malts, grassy. Tastes hay, barnyard, malts. Thin to medium body, soft tickling carbo.

Die Schaumkrone hält mittelmäßig es riecht Aromatisch hopfig. Geschmacklich ist es ähnlich dem einen Pils, nur kaum herb dennoch leicht Aroma hopfig. Also denn schmeckt man schon herraus, den Sandhausener aber er könnte wenn er schon Namensgeber des Bieres ist, bitte auch etwas intensiver sein! Fazit: Für ein Pils gut trinkbar da mild, die besonderheit kommt zwar zum Vorschein ist aber eher Nebengeschmack als Präsentator!
